‘Kamara’ is the biggest (60 sq.m.) and the most spacious room of our guesthouse. It is also the oldest room of the building since according to our information it was built around 1870. It features an old traditional double wrought-iron bed, a wardrobe, a dressing table, two night stands, a kitchen and a small dining area, a bathroom and a sitting area which includes two armchairs, a small table, a sofa bed, a Smart television, an air conditioning unit and a fireplace.
The kitchen is fully-equipped and it features an oven, a stove, fridge, kettle, toaster and a shaker. The room gets its name from the arch (‘kamara’ in Greek) that stands in the middle of the room, an element that was preserved during the building’s restoration. The arch a distinctive architectural feature of old traditional houses in Cyprus. Smoking is not permitted indoors. Smoke detectors have been installed in all of our rooms for fire safety purposes.
‘Kamara’ is fit for accommodating up to four people (four adults or a family with two children) since it has extra room for a smaller bed to be added if necessary. The room opens out to the shared courtyard of our guesthouse.
