Story Behind The Name
'Rothkia's Home' is a traditional guesthouse located in the centre of Parekklisia village of the Limassol district in Cyprus. The name of the guesthouse was given in memory of our late grandmother Rodou or 'Rothkia' as her friends and local people used to call her.
Respecting the house's history, we maintained its original traditional structure and character, with the addition of one extra room on the first floor on the corner side of the guesthouse. The building has been successfully and meticulously restored and turned into a guesthouse, according to the architectural traits and structural materials of similar traditional buildings in Cyprus.
In its present form, Rothkia's Home combines some of the traditional elements of the past with the basic amenities of the present-day a quiet escape close to the city, the beach and the countryside.
